Yay! Just found it on my DL source too... can't wait to play this. The demo videos make the controls seam way more polished and thought out when compared that seen in the NHL 2K series on Wii. And Pee-Wee's to Pros... should be a great career mode.

No, you don't need the stick. You can play it like a normal game with the Wii remote and nunchuck combo.

It blows 2K out of the water in terms of graphics and fun factor.

My Local EB\Gamestop had the sticks standalone at $20 CDN. Game plays just fine without... there is stick and no-stick control settings... only difference is you don't need to point the remote down all the time and because of this with shooting you hold down C to do a slapshot.

Great game... see my full thoughts in the 2010 Wii Hockey Thread.

Don't buy the extra stick at EB. Superstore is selling it for $15.

worst artcover ever? And why does the image look so squished
It is because it comes with a peripheral. If you click on the cover you see the real size

The game is said to be pretty good but I`m not too much into Ice-Hockey... Typical European guy - I love me some football (english, not american

). Still looks interesting.
