I still dunno why people buy this instead of some android tv or raspberry pi
Cause collectability and it being a Nintendo product.
It's the same reason people purchase Apple hardware when they can achieve pretty much the same with a hackingtosh.

Is this nes classic better built than raspberry pi or is it exactly the same? Either way there was already more capiable stuff out there like Nvidia shield (worth it) Or wii, wii u, CFW ps3 or ps2, xbox, xbox 360, Gamecube, and those other silly name systemsn (GPX32 or CWN Zero, whatever is called)Yeah for like 20 bucks more, you could get an Android TV (well another 20 bucks if you don't have some sort of bluetooth controller) you can get an Android TV box that does all that has more storage and can do Kodi and Netflix and a few other neat things.
I went all out on an Nvidia Shield but it's so worth it lol
Edit: Although the thought of hacking it really seems fun... lol

IF they went with raspberry pi 3 B it has wifi and bluetooth, so perhaps wireless controllers could have been used like the wii motes or other ones we already had. But oh well. I mean it would least been cool if maybe you can do 3DS download and do multiplayer or something, maybe even play with 3DS as controller like super smash bros on wii u.I believe it's a dual core 1Ghz with 512MBs of RAM and 512MBs of storage so it's like a gen 1 Pi? With a NES shell and controller for 60 bucks prebuilt lol
