Yup with all those 60 GB storage and glitches in some games.
All joking aside, the 720P Classic games are actually nice to have. But no emulation of any kind is perfect. Even official emulation. PS2 games have some glitches. (FINAL FANTASY X-2) And some graphical problems, and i think not every game is playable for some reason, maybe lag or whatever. But i never had problems with the games personally.
Let's be honest here, keeping our old systems are best option, why?
- Adding backwards functions will make the console more valuable obviously as you can see with the ps3.
- Having it in the system would be a deterrance to the PS4, cause then everyone would have it simply to play ps3, ps2, or ps1 and not buy any from PSN to play. Not only that but would be hard for players to focus on ps4 library of games with all the other options.
- Sony would charge ridiculous prices for the systm. (You thought $599 was bad enough in 2006 E3 try $1000 or more.
- SCALPERS. The main problem.
- EXCLUSIVES ARE WHAT SELL GAMES AND CONSOLES.
Having one thing that does everything, is great for consumers and works for us, but not for business. Cause there no reason to get anything else putting others out of business. This is why having exclusive content is always important. Get a ps4 for fighting games, Xbox one for shooting games, Wii u for Good long lasting replay and party games, and steam for super sale deals and free online games. If all that was in one, then there is no reason to have different consoles. Bad for business.
