I know you didn't just blame DS2 the DS2 is awsome for early emulation for any ds.When I got my DSi I was mad because the 3DS came out a year later and I said to my self why did I get this piece of crap and I sold my DSi for the 3DS and every body forgot about DSi.The fact is that there way better handhelds than DSi to hack cough 3DS,PSP,Vita no offense.
Which doesn't change the fact that the DSTwo killed DSi development. It offers similar results with less hassle, it's simple as that. Anyone who knows a little bit about the DS's hardware will tell you that despite having the power and RAM advantage over DSi Mode, the DSTwo isn't the godsend everybody claims it to be. The bottleneck is the Slot and its limited bandwidth. The idea behind the DSTwo is that calculations can be performed externally and the results can be sent over the slot into the DS's hardware. If you think that because the DSTwo has 32MB RAM and the DS has 4, you have a total of 36 MB RAM then you are sorely mistaken. The DSTwo can access its RAM, but not the DS's and vice versa. You still need a buffer in the 4MB's to receive data, you just prepare it quicker on the DSTwo and relegate the DS to the role of a host device. I wouldn't be suprised if DSTwo's and DSi Mode's performance was comparable, and with the extra hardware like the SD slot and cameras, and perhaps better WiFi in the future, the DSi Mode remains an interesting thing to think about.

Don't fool yourself, even with the DSTwo, the PSP is still a superior device for emulation purposes at a lower overall price.

Aside from DS games, yeah I use my PSP to emulate everything. Its a fantastic piece of hardware.
