Why does this section have prefixes?

So I noticed that when making a thread in the Switch - Hacking & Homebrew section, it allows you to have prefixes.
Is there a reason only this section in particular is allowed prefixes or is it a bug?

I've thought about it too. I just haven't had the time to ask anyone about it.
"Question" could be useful for... well, questions, and then being able to change it to "Resolved" or "Answered" perhaps.

The "Reviewer Status" prefixes could actually be useful for homebrew development... like a WIP page, or a final release... or abandoned projects.

Maybe we should look into it, to have proper prefixes though...

I'd say it sounds like a good idea to enarable them on all board sections. Except general chat/eof.

Pfft, that is weird. It has the same prefixes as the staff reviews section, except its missing two.
As it currently stands each prefix have to be manually enabled (selected) for each subforum where it's supposed to be used. This isn't a very hard procedure but it can be a bit time consuming, it's easy to miss some subforum and I don't believe there's been any discussion about what prefixes are needed for what subforum.
