ROM Hack why does my pokemons think it's winter?!

i just noticed, my pokemon started displaying the season as winter, it was previously autumn. shouldn't the season correspond to the normal season? i have the date set on my DS correctly. how do i fix this, i want spring.

It doesn't correspond to real seasons, it's determined on what month it is. I think it changes every month or so.
