Hacking why does GW not work after old DS games on blue card

Got a gateway and it runs great, on omega 3.2

I tried to get older DS games working and they work fine when I put them on the blue card. The problem is that after the blue card has been in and one of the old games has been played, that the gateway menu disappears, it need re-installed with the blue card again.

Is there a way to use the blue card and older games without losing the GW patch?

I think It's because playing DS games fix the DS profile

that is normal. when you use a ds card it resets the ds profile...
you can get around it by updating and using a 9.2 exploting... but your better off just installing the ds profile exploit everytime, than risk to screw up...

There is a method somewhere on here (cant find it atm) that got the MSET exploit to stick. Look around an youll find it

Some people have been able to get the NVRAM profile to "stick", but I don't think it's fully understood how or why yet. Until then, assume that running any DS mode software will cause your profile to be reset, and run GW_INSTALLER.nds when you're done and ready to go back to 3DS stuff. Any retail DS card, any DS flash card, any DSiWare you have installed, any of those will cause the profile to be reset, most likely.

I dunno why but here's what happened to me:

Did full NVRAM install per GW instructions
DS profile exploit worked
Played a game from ds card (r4i 3DS RTS wifi from modchipcentral)
DS profile didnt work
Use GWinstaller on DS flashcard
Its been sticking ever since regardless of playing ds games or not
