Well still adjusting to seperated life. I was/am married to a woman I love. Life was great coming home to her and my step son everyday from work and school, seeing them first thing in the morning. Doing his homework with him everynight and fixing thier meals, I took it all for granted. What went wrong you ask? I married a recovering addict and once we got married, she completly dropped the recovering part and took me for everything. she cleaned out our savings, pawned everything she could get her hands on behind my back. We lost a lot of our stuff, and she took a lt of my stuff too. We split over her pills and I left the frunitre and appliances, not to mention the eletronics she either took and pawned, or I gave it to my step son, cause he shouldnt get punished cause hse fucked up. Like I said eletronics alone :

my psp
two of my TV's
one on my custom pc's
my tattoo eqipment
My Nokia N800
my iphone
my main DS (yes I have a back up)
my WII
my N64

now I am not a rich man by or even well off, i had just saved and lived very frugally for a long time. Now all of it was for nothing, i lost everything and barely get to see my step son. Know what the worst part is? I still love he and would be with her, I feel stupid and I would not let her near my eletronics, but to be honest that is all just stuff. I miss my family.

Damn, that really sucks. I used to be a drug addict myself, and I remember I used to use this one guy in particular for money all the time. Honestly though, I didn't really care about him. I'm not saying that this is the case with you, but look deep and wonder, does this woman really love you?

Being an addict makes you desperate, don't get me wrong, but deep down you are still the same person.

Thebobevil is right. Please don't forget about the child. Get him away from her. Someone like that cannot be in charge of a little kid, they aren't in their right state of mind. Who knows, maybe one day when she is clean and sober she will fall in love with you and it will work out. But until that day comes (and it takes time, trust me, lots of time), she is only in love with her drugs. Take it from someone who knows

Oh been there, send her to the summerhouse detox center in maimi, so she could "be in comfort" it was a fucking spa, not a detox. And her mom wont say shit cause if she cracks down, my wife will just move her and her child out of state to her dad's empty house. it is all fucked up
