Hacking White Screen on Boot (R4i 3DS)

So I was cleaning my room today and found my old R4i 3DS card. I formatted a micro sd card and put the latest firmware from http://r4i-sdhc.com/ on the card. When I pop it into my Nintendo DS light it boots to just a white screen. I've researched around and haven't found anything that works. If anyone can help that would be great.

I should also mention that on booting my DS lite it goes to the DS menu and displays nothing but a blank box for slot 1. When I press A It launches to a white screen.

Try redownloading the kernel again. Perhaps you might have a bad file. Or maybe try tuning down the date to as early as 2010

Definitely incompatible SD card. Same thing happened to me last week, tried a new SD and it was fine.
