Yes if you follow the instructions to the letter. It's your only option in setting up CFW.

Actually, you should use Google to tell you how the NTR cheats work. It'll be easier than me telling you.

Using Gateway could brick your system so no.

just use plaisysupdater, update, and you will be chill

just install plaisysupdater in gateway emunand, and get the 9,2 update files. DO NOT USE ANY GATEWAY SOFTWARE TO UPDATE OR DOWNGRADE. YOU WILL BRICK. But everything else is %100 safe

Using Gateway could brick your system so no.

gateway only bricks if you are

1. using a clone cart

2. Using there downgrading software

Other than that gateway is just as safe as any other cfw. There has only been like 3 recorded bricks, and all were using a supercard dstwo + on gateway mode

Seriously, get F out of here and just keep using your gateway because I believe you are not competent enough to install cfw and arm9lh on your 3ds.

god, I am just done with the gatehate on gbatemp. I have never owned a gateway in my life but keep this in mind, THERE IS NO REASON WHY PEOPLE SHOULD SWITCH TO CFW IF THEY ARE HAPPY WITH THEIR GATEWAY. Gateway 3ds in a perfectly good product, t is rather easy to set up, has the best cheat support out of anything, and comes with a lot of tools in the launcher. While cfw and dycrpyt9 can do everything gateway can do arguable better, why should they switch? Cfw is confusing at first, and are not as streamedlined to set up as gateway. Gateway is based off stolen content, but who cares. Their software is fairly stable (besides downgrading tools) and is pretty quick too. There is nothing wrong with gateway, nothing

also, for christ sake, he didn't even said he had set up his gateway. Are you going to hate him cause he owns a stupid piece of plastic? Most 3ds dev own a gateway! Its not bad to own one! Open notepad and rant about gateway if that makes you feel better, don't spew toxicity to new members who are trying to get help

If something has a brick code, it has a chance to run. That's why I'm not trusting GW.
