Hacking Which card to get for DSi?

Before anything, all of this with the cards is really confusing. I don't know which card to get since there are a couple and I keep on hearing "this card is better than the other..." etc. I've been researching for two days but I'm still confused about all this.

I want to get a DSi (Not XL) card for my little 8 year old cousin but I'm not sure which one to get. I also don't know if there are different series of DSi that might not make a card work. The firmware is 1.4.3U in her DSi and I told her not to update it. So if you guys can help me out with this problem would be really helpful. Thank you

Anything with DSi compatibility here should work on the latest DSi firmware (1.4.5) too.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Acekard 2i does not support 1.4.5.
