I used a param.sfo editor instead of that. I believe TrueAncestor has one built in now. Also, if you're trying to get injected ps1 games working, I haven't been able to as of yet.

Alright, thanks. I'll look into that.

I also found a site where you can get pkgs, I tested it with Red Alert Retaliation as a test because its size is small. It won't install. It only shows wait a moment, and after that it will just get back from where it was, but the game is not installed. How to install games correctly?

Also the guide is different than the tools they used on the site, perhaps the tutorial is outdated?
I was able to install the other pkg (5kb), where it needs to be signed, the tool works differently even than other YouTube tutorials.

Is there an updated tutorial version somewhere in the middle of April to now?

I don't know the tools on top of my head as I don't have access to the other PC right now. But I'd like to know beforehand so ^^

Thanks in advance.

I'm currectly following this guide: http://www.psx-place.com/threads/tutorial-the-great-ps3xploit-3-0-han-all-in-one-guide.16979/
I'm on part 4 step 23, where you need to open PS3Tools_Menu.exe.
Steps 23 and 24 of the PS1 Classic guide are useless, you can open the param.sfo editor directly... which of course is included in ps3tools :)

I found one, but it's only for CFW up to 4.81 I think.
Doesn't matter, yes ps3tools were last updated when 4.81 was the newest version, but nothing significant (and nothing that actually matters to any of the bundled tools) changed from 4.81 to 4.82!
There are some tools that don't make sense to HAN users as opposed to CFW, yes, but the same reasoning applies to OFW users... besides, you don't even need a PS3 to convert PS1/PS2/PSP games ;)

Yes, ps3tools is unnecessarily hard to find, this reddit wiki is usually very good for any major PS3 homebrew or tool and indeed it has a link in the very first paragraph!
