If you didn't buy your 3DS from Japan, then it can't play it since 3DS's are region locked.Hi,
Any recommendation where/how to buy Monster Hunter 3G? And my 3DS is the new colour midnight purple, can it play Japanese games?
Thanks

How much is Funz Centre selling?eBay is your best bet.Hi,

But since you're a Singaporean, I recommend Funz Centre at AMK Hub. If they don't carry it, you could make a request.
"My 3DS is purple, can I play games from the other side of the world?"
I lol'd
Well, Midnight Purple is only out in the US."My 3DS is purple, can I play games from the other side of the world?"
I lol'd
Chill pal. What he is saying is that you cannot base a region by its color (in a very informal way)."My 3DS is purple, can I play games from the other side of the world?"
I lol'd
Why lol? I took this pretty offensive. Can't you see other people can base on that information and actually gave me good advice? I know it sounds noob, but anyone can be a noob in a certain area. I can lol at you for many other things, how about that?
And big thanks to others for positive good advises. Cheers![]()
I'm personally worried that MH3G when localized will have online combat. So what do you intend to do? Sell away your US 3DS and import a JPN 3DS?
For me, I initially also bought a US 3DS at launch for 399SGD for the sake of playing One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP and then I realize they have absolutely no intention of bringing that game to the US so I decided to get a JPN set!And I believe I did the right choice as I am spending much more time on my JPN set than my US set
You should definitely get MH3G! That game is pure awesomeness! Currently clocked over 600 hours on it!![]()

I'll cry if true (and if I sold my US 3DS).
But I'm preparing to sell anyways![]()
Let's be honest here: this is the only reason why I'm keeping my US 3DS.I'm personally worried that MH3G when localized will have online combat. So what do you intend to do? Sell away your US 3DS and import a JPN 3DS?

Hmm...how about MH4? I am pretty sure MH4 localization will take as long as MH3G localization! LOL! Do you really want to make yourself suffer the whole localization nightmare again?![]()
Try not to take online comments too seriously, there are plenty of jerks as there are good people. Why lol? I took this pretty offensive. It's not impossible. From what I understand, the online component of Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) was pay-to-play in Japan, but Capcom USA removed the monthly fee, making the game free-to-play online. In the US, online play is considered to be much more necessary for a game than in Japan, as I understand it. If (and that's a big IF, there, boys) this game gets localized, Capcom may well add Wifi play to the game to boost sales.I seriously doubt that they will add online to MH3G...
