PS1/2 Where to buy a PS1 Modchip?

I have a old first gen PSX (the big mofo one)

And have a little spare money and would like to get a modchip but since the technology is so old i can't find a chip

Am i gonna be forced to use a PS-X-Change disc? and have sub0par performance?

There were also a few other roll your own updates doing the rounds that were aimed at more modern/common programmable chips. If I am not mistaken tehskeen had some in their news at some point in the last few months.

Was gonna order a cheap sd mp3 player from DX but would rather mod my psx lol

And already have a soldering gun just need some um soldering wire

Using it to disassemble some old crap to practice
