Well confused now. Tried running Safehax from the Homebrew Launcher and says ! PM INIT FAILED! Press [Start] to exit.

How do u use htpwn etc?

Thought i was doing well, but now it's going a bit wrong

Just thought i'd have a go today while i was partially started on it.

Can i ask, i managed to download Steel diver via the Eshop on the Homebrew Launcher and it installed, i then restarted the 2ds, but i can't see the game anywhere in the menus. Do i need to run it from the Homebrew Launcher?

Nope, tried downloading it again using the homebrew launcher, but this time it said "you have to link this title to a network id to download it". I clicked yes, now screen gone blank...

I tried to create a nnid, but surprise surpise, it says error code 022-2511 a system update is required before online services can be used.

Listen, thanks for your patience and help today, will come back on tomorrow if you're able to help me on, hopefully a working guide appears in the meantime.

Theres a workaround right now.
you have to have a gamecard inserted when launching waithax

Just your region. You shouldn't even have folders for the other regions.

   • If you get a glitched screen, follow this troubleshooting guide
   • Press (Select) to Full Install

When I selected Full install, it loads SafeA9LHinstalller v2.0.3 but I get this error:
Error: payload_stage1.bin doesn't exist or exceeds max size.
Press any button to shutdown

As per step 7: Copy the a9lh folder from the data_input .zip to the root of your SD Card

I did download the data_input.zip and copied the a9lh folder (to the root) and contains the follows files :
firm0.bin
firm0_100.bin
firm1.bin
secret_sector.bin

Managed to get to the last section, can I have some advice on this bit please:

Section IV - Restoring the System

1. Go to “SysNAND Backup/Restore”
2. Restore from NANDmin.bin

I go into SysNAND Backup/Restore and press A, then in the next menu I select SysNand Restore (keep a9lh), but there is no mention of the NANDmin.bin file, am I doing anything wrong here? If I press A again, it says "You selected Sysnand restore (keep a9lh) then says do you wish to proceed.

Any ideas?

Got it done, big thanks to x65943 and others !!!!

Just one thing, to get past the Decrypt9 to complete I had to use a Cart.
Luckily I found some Gateway Ultra carts, the red one didn't work, but the Blue one did (I've never used it and couldn't believe I would end up using it for this)

believe me almost all websites post from china, anyway I bought sky3ds+ from one of the official resellers of sky3ds.com about 6 months ago, I didn't know about these hacking cfw, hbl etc, I wish I knew before. Now I'm using both but sky3ds kind a useless cfw is best, thanks to gbatemp.

You may want to buy a high capacity microSD instead of sky3ds and install cfw, there is a guide for noobs here like everyone said https://3ds.guide/ give it an hour max and you will be fine. DON'T update your device before hacking, after you can update and play online.
Think twice before buy, is it worth to pay about £80?
