I think both camps are valid. On the one hand, as paying customers of Acekard an update or a comment indicating progress with a fix would do wonders to alleviate anxiety. One the other hand, whining about it may accomplish nothing.
In the end, I think this thread needs to exist. People to vent their frustration somewhere, might as well keep in one thread.

I generally agree with your thoughts, but with the caveat that I don't think whining about it, or making silly demands of the Acekard team HERE is appropriate. This is not their official forum so they have no obligation to address any of your concerns here. If people have complaints on the lack of communication, or the lack of a release date, people should address that in their official forums. At least if it is done on their forums, there is a higher probability they will read it (whether they will care is a different thing all together)
If anyone is brave enough to forage through the Acekard BBS, for bonus points do it in Simplified Chinese and they might actually read it. The ramblings of prepubescent idiots do not translate well via Google Translate so try to use coherent thoughts and grammatically correct English. I remember having to read emails from our German subsidiary, and Google Translate came back with.... interesting dialogs that resembled a MadLib from hell.
