Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for PlayStation followed by Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete.

I hear the PSP version of Silver Star is just as good but without the anime cut-scenes(if you're into that kind of thing).

At the moment - Guild Wars 2. All time favourite - too hard to say but FF VII through X are contenders as are DQ8, Breath of Fire 3, Suikoden, Panzer Dragoon Saga and Secret of Mana. Oh, and I liked FFXIII... I really, truly did.

PS. Does anyone else wince/cringe when they see Zelda turn up in an RPG thread?
I do. I fucking do and it kills me.
Fav. RPG games... hmm.
Chrono trigger (Duh)
Super Mario RPG
Final fantasy 4
Secret of Mana
Tales (series) Not sure which one of them though
Golden Sun series
M&L series
Fire emblem series
The Last Story
Xenoblade Chronicles
Pandora's tower.
Paper Mario TTYD
Suikoden Tierkreis
I think that's it from me. I'm pretty diverse. I got loads that I didn't mention.

Final Fantasy 13. Nothing beats walking in a straight line. Not only that, I didn't even have to do any of the fighting myself! I just love a game that plays itself. I mean I walked out of the room and taped the analog button down, came back and I had almost beaten the game!

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, 179 days and DDD, haven't played the first but *puts flameshield on* the second almost broke my controller from button mashing.
