THe r4custom, what does it do. I know what the bugfix does, but I don't know what r4trans does. please explain what it does. Yasu made it.

The R4Trans can translate the R4's firmware to other language. So it's basically changes the text.

The bugfix v2 is fixing/upgrading the Action Replay Engine.

The other options are obvious, I think.

after running the bugfix for the action replay engine, is it supposed to add 2 cheat boxes on the bottom screen for some games? i hadnt updated my r4 in a while so im not exactly sure what was wrong with the action replay to begin with but i figured i'd run the fix anyway. some games at the bottom it shows 2 cheat boxes, knda confused.

the 2 cheat boxes mean that ur usrcheat and cheat have the same game, and they show both I suggest you only use the cheat.dat, and use rayder's.

ok, only the first 4 games on my list in the tf card have both boxes..and yes i just downloaded rayder's latest cheat file and that comes with usrcheat and cheat..so just put one on the tf card? why would it come with both if u dont need one?

The cheat.dat is encrypted and thus harder to edit. The usrcheat.dat can be edited without any trouble.

Cheat.dat can be directly edited with Yasu's r4cce.

because maybe you want a general cheat database (such as the cheat.dat) and a custom one that you make only for certain games with certain cheats (such as the usrcheat.dat). Or maybe you want to keep the original R4 chat.dat and compliment it with the usrcheat.dat made by someone else.
