there's a user manual too, and lots of great infirmation thankyou!
I'm curious as to what a signed pspident has to say about it's mobo. IIRC the 09g or was it 11g was the street(?)
And the street IS the E-1000 it was critiziced because they went back down to 1000 model number and being a budget version back in '09/'10/'11 before the vita/psp2 was unvelied.

If it does turn out to be hackable go for the light custom firmware options like pro/L-ME and stay away from infinity until proved safe. Don't risk the console for a coldboot.

Are you really sure it has no wifi/wireless capabilities at all? Antenna gain sounds like a more powerful signal output device. But if it lacks wifi what does it do? It doesn't seem to have BT either.

The FCC pages show a wireless antenna and wifi chip.

3001E looks nothing like an E1000 anyway.
On top of that Sony did not release E1000 in North America, making it improbable to find in a store

i installed Pro-C fix 3 on the 6.60 firmware and it tells me with pspident 0.75 that it's an 09g Bright (Brite). I'm happy because i feel the screen is better than my 03g 3001, though maybe thats just bc its a newer toy both in production and for me.Theyre both fun and im happy to finally clear the air. Is the 09g sought after for any particular reason, can it do anything that an 03g cannot?

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
