Like the title says what's the best emulator for 3ds? Preferably a emulator that support all old systems?

retroarch is what you looking for.

well you could use SNES9x for Old 3DS for snes.

you could also use GameYob 3DS for GB/C games

What do you want to emulate? If you don't like the games/system a good emulator won't matter.

You have very little options then. You have snes9x that runs most snes games full speed, retroarch quicknes core, and mgba runs few gba games at full speed. You can inject gba games into gba virtual console titles though to get full gba simulation, meaning it's running them natively. This makes it have near 100 percent accuracy, though some features are gone such as save states and sleep mode.

has retroarch 3ds seen any improvements within the last 4 months? or are they still not willing to roll back to the last actually stably version and work from there?

NES - Retroarch Quicknes (make sure you disable video filters!)
    SNES - Snes9x for O3DS
GEN - Retroarch Picodrive (make sure you disable video filters!)
GB/GBC - GameYob 3/23 build or VC injects
    GBA - VC injects

What about the New 3DS? I assume injected titles are best, but I like the additional options emulation provides and saves are much easier to manage between devices. Which emulators are best with both regard to speed and accuracy for each system: GB/C, GBA, NES, SNES, and Genesis?

literally every retroarch core then. Like don't use any other emulators besides retroarch, gameyob being the exception. The only core that will no run full speed is psx, which runs ffvii at like 40fps

Thanks. I wanted to check first because I saw Retroarch consists of a number of cia files that need to be installed. It seems one for each core in the latest nightly release.

Go with the 1.3.3 release as it's thr most stable and runs the best out of any of the builds. And yes each core is a unique cia, i have a folder dedicated to retroarch on my home menu.
