Hacking What's stopping us from copying VC games?

I mean, if it has to be played on the Wii it was downloaded from, wouldn't the only difference between my game and someone else's be like, 1 line of code with our unique Wii ID code in it?

So couldn't we just find that code, change it to ours, and load it to an SD, then copy it to the Wii? That wouldn't even take a modded Wii.

I'm sure this has been thought of before, so I'm wondering what else is going on that is preventing this.

The files are encrypted in a manner that changes about 90% of the file. If someone could decrypt them, they could see the one line that's changed, but as of now no-one has done that.
