Is this the update which breaks all "legacy" addons?
probably :(
I use a lot of them, I even wrote one myself that I will not port to the new plugin system (because I don't have time to learn how to do it, and don't know if it's even possible).
I'll probably stop updating, unless someone port/fix my own addon for me and other users (yeah, hoping people will do my job).
I use mine everyday, it's so useful I don't know why it's not even a native feature (even users are telling that).

the issue is when website (like gmail) force you to update your browser to even display its content.
I can install two different version and launch them at the same time. different install folders, different user profiles.

Until I am sure that my core addons/extensions are compatible, I will stay on the older version. The new interface is cool and all but I'd take function over aesthetics any day

Yep. Breaks all those good old addons you know and love, like DownThemAll.

For now I'll continue with my switch to Chrome them, shame as I still prefer FF with all the "legacy" addons I had.

FF have really dropped the ball on this one as it was the reason I continued to use them as so far I've yet to find alternatives for allot of addons so I'll need to keep FF on the older version (not good for day to day use).

I really like the new Firefox Quantum
It's noticable quicker and use less resources.

What I dislike is that the old bookmark menu is a bit hidden.
Currently I don't face any Pugin/Extention problems.
They all are working.

I'am neutral about the new design for the pc version.
Currently, I dislike the new design for Android. It just looks like Google Chrome.

Do browsers actually force an update sometimes? wow...

Firefox does, I think. But I'll avoid if as long as I can.

How do you display the bookmark bar?
