Misc What method of homepass would work for me?

Hello GBAtemp community,

I would like to know what method of homepass/streetpass relays would work for me?
I got a laptop with linux mint on my ext hdd it uses 64 bit, next to that I got windows 7 ultimate 32 bit on my internal hdd, which I got for free from someone who knows me a little, my old hdd crashed once.

I can't use the router, because it's from my parents, also I can't usse any lan cable, we don't got anyone left anymore. I can use wifi tethering with my rooted android 5.0 GT-N7000/Samsung Galaxy note 1 International, no 3g only wifi.

I tried to use the methods as they were described, but it did go wrong a little and I couldn't connect to my relay, also I couldn't connect to the internet on my laptop that moment.
