what is the point of life

What's the point of life?

  • To be born, have parents, get a boyfriend/girfriend. Get married, have kids. Reflect on life.

  • The choice above is lame! The purpose is to die!

  • Money, money, money!

to be a decent friend to my friends :3

. . . though people may say friends you found on the internet count for nothing . . . but I feel closer to them than anyone in real life . . .

. . . at least that's the closest excuse I can find right now at the moment x3
but mostly, you only worry about the meaning of life when you don't feel any. otherwise, you simply don't think about it.

The purpose of life is far too abstract to be any particular thing. It's different depending on every living being; sometimes there are many purposes, sometimes none, and sometimes the relationship of meaning in one's life is woven far too complex to understand. What's important to understand is that it's okay if you feel life doesn't have a purpose, and it's okay to not know what purpose your life serves if there is one. As long as you're enjoying the time you have and don't let negativity confine or solely define you, the point of life hardly matters as much as the experience.

This is what I've learned about the meaning of life so far:
  • It's enjoying your life without harming others in any way or letting them harm you.
  • It's also trying to get the best experiences that meet your ambitions, principles, values, beliefs, etc...
  • To try your best to enjoy the company of your beloved ones without being afraid of disappointing them.
  • To try your best to manage your own expectations in a way that you don't get disappointed.
  • To try your best to not be selfish but also to not forget about your own needs before being the "pleaser" that everyone ends up despising when they don't need you.
  • Life can be tough but YOU make the best of it when you give your best at everything you do or get involved in.
