I have actually already sort of experienced this and it was really frustrating not being able to remember anything but at the same time very freeing.
It's really annoying trying to have a conversation and when the other person responds you've already forgotten what he was responding to.
I don't want to go into detail because of reasons but suffice to say I hope I never experience that again.

In reality, I have a terrible memory.
Short and long term has been affected, short term the most.
Even if people tell me in detail what happened, I often have no clue.
