Hacking What does patch Startpatch?

I'm thinking about using Startpatch, since I want run my games from disc channel and there's no option to disable the updates (disc constantly stubing my IOS249). So my question is:
1. There's a method to launch a game from Disc Channel that promt a stub on 249, and keeping 249 unstubed, without using Startpatch?
2. How invasive is Startpatch, how many IOS it patch?

Use priiloader instead for extra brick protection/ autobooting methods and too block disc updates. Its just a system menu patcher it doesnt patch IOS.

I just want my Menu the closest to the unpatched one, Priiloder or Startpatch?

If invasiveness is somthing you are concerned about then go with StartPatch. It does not move system menu, unlike priiloader. It only patches system menu, without pre-loading ability.
