...a few hours ago i went outside to catch a few more of these ants and one came out of nowhere and dive-bombed my neck (it had wings) and this one had no pinchers that i could see... and their nest opening is about the size of my pinkie finger if that helps at all

There are some ants with wings (usually males, i think). But that's mostly true for most ants and termites, right?
