Hacking Well this kinda sucks...

So i just I ordered my acekard 2i on Feb 16 2010 and received it on March 4th (give or take a day) and am sitting there playing today and everything is fine and decided to add a new rom to my micro sd card so i take the sd card out like normal. When trying to put it back in after the acekard spring is now broken, it won't hol donto the micro sd... Im kinda disappointed that this happened only a week or so of owning it. Does acekard.com cover this type of damage i couldn't find anything on they're site about warranty.

hmm... well, maybe, since it was so fast broken.

The spring is not forever lasting but it shouldn't snap from a evil look at it either.

Better ask yourself I think, I cannot say much for or against it...

my spring broke on the first day of using the ak2i. the card still works and the micro-sd can't fall out anyway.

I have gotten mine replaced 3 times because of this reason, they break REALLY easily. I just got my 4th Ace kard today and the same thing happened already. Now I want to just use it without the spring, but my SD card won't actually stay down, since the spring is in the way.

This is really annoying.

The OP probably means the locking mechanism is broke. So there's no way of keeping the SD card in there other than taping over the slot once the card is in there.

ya thats what i ment apparently you can lock the spring down on first use and then just pull the sd card out without using the spring fine to avoid this problem now im waiting for dealextreme to answer me about the problem

Just push the mSD into the slot like normal until it clicks. Now that it's locked down, you can just pull it out without clicking down first. So you will be removing the mSD without using the spring.
