Homebrew Was any of the arm based emulators able to run (3)ds games natively?

No instruction parsing/ virtual cpu.
While most smart device with arm v8 are more than capable of running ds simulations, is any able to do it naively (ds's gpu line is probably dead) regarding its 3 (or 2) generation gap?

There's emulators that claim to work on your phone for Android, but I am not sure if they are legit and honestly not willing to test them myself. Partly because I am not sure if they are good and the other part because my phone is a garbage S3.

I have one on my iphone but that is not my point here. It seems more of a rework of x86 when they could just run arm8 on modern arm. I wonder how much ds contribute to arm.

There's one known as Drastic, you need to pay for it but from what I've seen, it's made for ARM processors so it runs far smoother compared to the other emulators available on Android.

Also recommend drastic. The devs say that it was made "from the ground up" for Android, so they probably used methods to run native code because it works AMAZING. As for 3DS, I'd wait until citra gets to no$gba status on PC before anyone takes a crack at Android.

Thanks for the info. Wonder if power8 can handle xbox 360 though it is totally not worth the price.
PS5 might have enough power for both ps3 and ps4 but that was a far future (the biggest problem is that amd's current design cannot handle 8 threads even at lower clock, not to mention it is only 1.2 Ghz).

Doubt it, although having an x86 processor means ps4 emulation is possible on PC's in the next 5-6 years, but there's a very low chance the ps5 will be more than double that of the ps4, let alone the standard x4 power requirement of emulators. Remember, emulators aren't running games, they run consoles that run games.

3ds is 16 bit, pi 2 is 32 bit. pi model b is on par with the 3ds, pi 2 is a class above new 3ds.
If ps5 have eight zen+ cores/ 16 threads that will be of little problem. AMD already said you can get the power of a xbox one on a 45w laptop with zen/ polaris apu.
