When?

Bleach: Versus Crusade comes out December 18th if I remember, NGTNTEX3 comes out November 17th I think. But again, hopes are dashed til someone makes a better version and boosts the compatability.
I heard crediar was woking on one. One that doesn't use cIOS. I'm not sure if it uses DVDX. It's been in development for a long while now. I'm not even sure if he's working on it anymore or if he dropped the project.
As much as I want to believe you, I can't. Just cause you heard something doesn't make it real.

but I hope he is working on it.

Rayman Raving Rabbids (NTSC): Doesn't work! Hangs on green screen.
Resident Evil 4 (NTSC): Works!
Super Paper Mario (NTSC): Works!
WarioWare (NTSC): Doesn't work! Hangs on green screen.
WarioWare (PAL): Lags on the intros, but works at normal speed while playing.

I have a question: Does installing DVDx or whatever cause your load times in regular non-burned games to be slower?
Simply put, no.

So if a NTSC Wii owner wants to play an ISO in color without component cable or a HD TV they need the PAL ISO?

Seems to be the case for me, PAL copy of TFU is working in full color with RCA cables but it is the only game I've gotten to try so far. I'm waiting on some more ISO's to finish so I can test more. Rebel Raiders NTSC will be finished soon, that will be my next report.
Was the PAL copy region freed and with what or was it just burnt and used in the backup loader because i tried wii chess PAL on my my NTSC 3.2U and still get black and white and screen not fitting properly.

yeah, used both regionfrii and brickblocker on it before patching. I was going to go back and try it without regionfrii but I've deleted the original ISO. Rebel Raiders DL was corrupt and the rest of my downloads will not be finished until tomorrow at earliest(my ISP sucks for torrents). I'll try the next PAL ISO with and without using regionfrii.

Does mario kart work past first race in gran prix?

also I have tried zelda - twilight princess and all i get is a gree screen.

burned varous speeds on generic dvd-r and sony dvd+r, also tried changing book type? all results the same. Could the ISO have an issue, it was listed as compressed? Should i try and locate a more clean dump?

I'm still confused on how to get working backups to play in color.

RegionFrii only converts NTSC -> PAL from what I can see, so I'm not sure how this would help as I was trying a PAL disc.

Can someone tell me what my missing piece is?

1. Download PAL Wii ISO file
2. Patch using BackupCreator (with common-key)
3. Burn to DVD-R
4. Play in Wii using WiiLoader (tried both reg and component cables)

NTSC Wii, 3.2U FW, GQ Brand DVD-R, ImgBurn 2X speed, 480p using component cables.

Backed up my own Zack&Wiki US and it plays fine!
My backed Twilight Princess US did not work; hung at green screen

regionfrii converts any region to whatever you want. It's really a guessing game if it does anything at this point. I've only tried one game, and it worked for me, but I also did not test the PAL ISO without it so it might have worked anyway. I think there were some other users reporting that it did not work for them.

If all else fails, get component cables if your TV has the input. So far that seems to have worked for anyone getting B&W with RCA.

If your talking about Svideo from the Wii to a TV... how do you do that?? If you mean Wii > standard cables > RF box > Svideo it's the same as Standard cable to TV... just with a rf modulator box in between..

yeah s-video straight to the tv. They do sell a s-video connector to the TV for the wii. I think i have one, but it is at my other residence about 200 miles away.
A RF modulator?.......no nothing of that sort.
My tv lacks the component cable input option. I only have S-video and plain old standard RCA cables.

ROWE - Okami (nstc) : loads slowly at start, opening skips alot, can begin select and load save, but freezes while loading the graphics and such.
Tried on NSTC wii, with progressive scan and widescreen on a NSTC tv. Burned at 3x (because that is what the FAQ said to burn it at). I think the main problem with okami is that it loads from the disc alot, so 3x is too slow for it.

I just downloaded a few games and tried them. Here are the results:

Sry, there's no way to install homebrew for the first time without a SD Card on an unmodded Wii. And you'll need a Twilight Princess disk too. Anyway, that's going off-topic so just use the search button on the top! [WiiBrew.org can help you too.]
