Awesome! But I wish he said what format the USB had to be. WBFS would be pretty annoying for unpacked wads if you're editting hacks and stuff into them.

So for reading it from USB we definitly need a second partition... So one along the WBFS one.

Hmm, the awesomeness level depends on whether he's dumping them on NAND first or not. That would pretty much equate it to Nintendo's SD channel method.

my 2 cents is that it won't need to be WBFS.
don't forget that WBFS has been created solely for dvd rips as they were too big to fit on a fat/fat32 partition.

the common VC/WiIWare are smaller, so it will be probably hosted on a fat/fat32 partition.

I have no hidden information or any direct link to waninkoko, I am just stating something that I think is common sense, now if I am wrong I am pretty sure a bunch of people will find a way to quote me and make me feel stupid [IMG]

This just makes copying easier. However, I don't expect wanin to go this way.

Oh, well...don't need this, but it's a nice feature [IMG]. I'm already happy when all the Bugs are ironed out, and if there's maybe a "real" IOS Reload function...and then I'm realy happy [IMG]. If it has all that, we have the perect last cIOS from Wanin [IMG].

Edit: Mhm..I guess the IOS Reload is realy needed...some VC/WiiWare also want a specific IOS...let's wait and see [IMG].

That would be a very useful feature to have. I hope it allows running it directly from the sd/usb, instead of copying to the nand first, which is what I would think it does since the copying to nand then running method is already something you can get from Nintendo as it is.

well it says they need unpacking (extracting in a way) to sd then they will play. who's said about installing back and forth to nand? speculation then.

    Awesome.
I've been waiting for this for a while, good to see Waninkoko is putting it into his last cIOS.

It'll be nice to acess all my wiiware/VC games all at once without having to install all of them.

I imagine that would require a modified cMIOS.

Yes, probably but Wanin said it was his last cIOS he never said his last cMIOS so you never know what could happen [IMG]

it would be awesome to load wii games, gc games, wiiware games, vc games all via usb loader, with a modified version of usb loader gx with different section for each category.

omg i'm such a pirate [IMG]

USB GC games support is not possible due of limitation in the MIOS.
Waninkoko said that it's not possible [IMG]
