suda: Get a USB harddrive then silly.

Not only can it play USB backups, but it can put a backup straight to USB without a need for a computer. Very very awesome.

Just buy a 1tb hard drive and you can keep a big collection on there. Especially if you scrub the iso's to save space.

Lol, I'm thinking about buying a Wii case and installing a hard drive in it.

great man!
What about making a menu just like in sd menu, but with the iso logos?
It would be awesome!

I think the beginning of the video shows that he managed to transfer homebrew channels apps to a sd menu "game", just like the virtual console games!

This man is a genius!

Regarding people wondering about what was with the SD stuff, I think he was just showing that he didn't have the channel on his Wii or SD so he can confirm that it's soley working from the USB port.

Also this is great, now I can back up my games and play them without having to get up to take out a disc, put it in it's case, then put it back on my shelf, take a different game case, take out the disc insert into Wii and put case away.

Great Job Waninkoko.

EDIT: Forgot to mention what I picked out from the video. It seems like there's controler responce lag when he was playing Mario Kart, it's either that or he isn't a very good player. (No offense Wanin.)

Just wanted to say thank you, Waninkoko for your hard work. I am one who uses such things for legit backup purposes. I used HDLoader back in the PS2 days to preserve both my discs, laser, and drive motor. I am very grateful that now I'll be able to do the same with my Wii. Also there's the fact that games load quicker.

I didn't think a USB loader would be out so soon, I remember everyone saying "lol a usb loader would be too slow, its a bad idea lol" a few weeks back. But after seeing this video, it looks like usb might be faster then the dvd drive.

I wounder if my ipod would work with the Wii.
