I am about to do some testing with this beta...wish me luck!?! Who's going to test my channel??? Just kidding! Hehehe... Anyways... thanks for giving me the chance (I think!?) Hehe... anyways give me a few and I will let you know how it is doing..

On another note... what are the system requirements for banner edit tools anyways?? I really didn't think it was that much of haggle on the resources?? Maybe I will throw the task manager up to see what it does...
No real resource requirements, all of my development was/is done in a virtual machine on a hackintosh, so it can't be that bad.

Only one sound bug to be fixed until release.

OK this is weird. no sound no matter what i do.

can anyone tell me what the correct way is to add sound (do you have to do anything to the wav besides signing it and calling it sound.bin)?

Editing the sound.bin for Custom Sounds at Channel Entrance (NEW!)

1. Find the sound that you want, all audio files are supported.

2. Open audacity.exe, press ctl+o and load your sound file.

3. Cut out a sound portion that is just under 10 seconds long.

4. Click "file" and select "Export as WAV..." name the file anything and save it to the "tools" folder. Close Audacity.

5. Right click the .WAV you just created and rename it to "sound.bin". Make sure the extension changed and not just the file name.

6. Open MD5Sig.exe and point it towards the sound.bin you created.

7. Repack the 00000000.app with the new sound.bin. (You must use the u8packer included in the new pack of tools.)

8. Install with wad manager.

maybe you are using a different u8packer.....

FTPii for Wii channel made with the new tools.. still has tetris channel sound but everything else works great!

Tested by self.

You should see this thing go once you hit -Create WAD!-

Looks like a ghost speedily running all the banner editing tools for ya...

I like it!

@Wiisel... The sound still doesn't work... yet, maybe what Gundalf threw at him should work. So far a great job!

@Mrk... no I don't think it is anymore...I am sure if you PM the wizard he can zap you a link with what he has as of now.

@Gundalf... so I guess I can as of now.. use the sound tutorial and change the sound by unpacking base.wad adding the new sound by audacity and md5sig.exe repacking it...renaming it back to base.wad and then using his tools for the rest? Still a few steps with the sound part...yet saves a shitload of time... so we can focus more on images...

Great!... if what I said will work?
