It runs well, but slow. And exiting a game is slow.

I'm searching DuckDuckGo right now. Seems the fastest read speed I can find on a card thus far is 95 MB/s.

Sandisk is your best brand for fast read speed cards.

I wonder if Wii (U) has builtin support for UHS-2 speeds, or it requires the software to have support..?

Does anybody else have slight tearing across the center of the screen?

(i have always preferred and) i been running with Uneek on vWii and no 'tearing' on screen here,
... but with all this talk about how much faster you guys load from sd cards compared to my usb , maybe its a lightening bolt and not a tearing at all ;-P'''

I don't think it's related to the SD card, because I've used SNEEK on a slower SD card without any issue.

Nice! :D ^ beat me to it, LOL

Anyway, I'll probably still play around with this tonight. I was actually curious if it would be possible to run kernel.bin directly on a normal Wii, too (bypassing the MINI-mod in armboot.h and loading kernel.bin instead of mini like I had done with the vWii code)

basically, it would be commenting out lines 32, 180, 184, and 185 in airline38's code there and replacing the MEM_VIRTUAL_TO_PHYSICAL( mini ) with 0x11000000

... we'll see what happens.

did you run kernel.bin directly on a normal Wii ?

I made few changes of the neek2o esmodule
(according to https://code.google.com/p/sneek/source/detail?r=198 )
to build a kernel of neek2o for vWii emu. nand.

It can allow me to access the neek2o menu (press 1 for channel and 2 for settings)
but only can display correct channel list (the only benefit is region-free).

However, I can't access/load any games/apps from the SD card or USB device.
Suppose the dimodule has to be modified but I have no clue for this.

Here is the source code of the neek2o esmodule I did.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/d6gi8a
(original source : https://code.google.com/p/custom-di/source/browse/#svn/trunk/es )
Hopefully someone can take a look to have vWii emu. nand work for
not only channel but also the games/apps on the SD/USB devices.

kool idea. i was thinking a similiar idea today and wondered when OverJoY might mod his stuff for vWii.

while i was playing New Super Mario Bro's Wii with my daughter from Uneek on vWii i told her we should save up and give some donation so OverJoY can get a WiiU and start modding his Custom DI to work on vWii
