I think the reason for these huge delays is that tons of ppl are buying the r4 right b4 x-mas. I just bought an n-card 2 weeks ago and it took just under 2 weeks to get here. no one buys the ncard

No one buys them because they're mediocre compared the the Flashcarts we have nowadays.
Sure, it can play some games very well that other games can't play.. But that's about it.

Quite often, really. Even with a 1 GB Japan MicroSD it's noticeable, as long as you got the real thing right beside you.

my brother ordered one for me on the 11/26/07, and no update if its been shipped, the live tracking doesn't work, and after sending them a email almost a week ago we have no response. This is quite aggrevating.

Update: My bro ordered me a R4 from volumerate on Nov 26th, he tried to e-mail them about on dec 19 and never got a update, it arrived yesterday Jan 2nd. My bro was also able to figure that it was shipped out on Dec 1st, so it took a month just for shipping!!!! It did arrive in decent shape and does seem to be working ok. Glad i have the older spring version for the mem card, the new one is a bit of a pain since you have to remove the R4 to get access to the mem card.

After 1 month waiting i also received my package of r4ds cards.

Apparently the r4ds are very hard to find, even in china, they told me they dont have stock right now.

well, volumerate assured me that the rumor that nintendo shut down the r4 factory was a lie. but its been more than a month for me and no confirmation of shipment. so I'm backing out and getting a refund. I went on over the chinese mall (pacific mall in scarborough toronto), but they told me that the r4 was out of production. I think the rumors are true and there will be no more r4s for a long time.

I ordered my R4 on the 4th of December and I haven't gotten it yet.

I ordered mine from NDS-Gear.com (before prices got raised a bit) and it's a bit more expensive than the others, but I didn't really know how to set one up or get files to stick on the card, and they helped me sort it out before I bought. I ordered on the 8th and it arrived on the 10th, so very satisfied.

May buy a TT card from them in the future to try that out too, or do people recommend sticking with the R4 even though it costs more?

I opened it up and it has the adapter, the case, and the mini CD, but NO R4DS CARD, its just not in here.

We are going to email them but now I'm pretty worried. I'll come back if I find out something new.

This just put me in the worst mood.

Just as an FYI, I had the same fear when I opened mine, but look inside the card case, not sure why they put it in there but that is where mine was. Hope it helps.
And a general note, it did take a bit for volumerate.com to send mine out, but i did receive a few updates along the way just letting me know that it was delayed because of backorders and the christmas rush, etc etc...i figure i saved a bunch and wasn't in any rush so I was quite happy with their service.
Also received the v2 of the r4, which is actually better because the spring isn't there as it was infamous for breaking.

well, we contacted volumerate and they said they would be happy to ship another, but the next shipment isnt until Feb 25th. I think Im just going to ask for a refund. where else should I look to buy it? I found it on gameyeeeah.com, anyone know anything about them?
