I have Vita TV softmodded. I initially had an external HDD for it with storagemgr or usbmc (I set it up in like 2020) but there was always an issue with leaving it in standby for several days. The power light would be on but whenever I'd try to turn it on it wouldn't do anything, controller wouldn't connect. I figured it might just be instability because I daisy chained the HDD to a USB hub to provide enough power to it since I guess the VIta TV is like the Wii U with an underpowered usb port. So recently I swapped out the HDD setup for an SD2Vita setup, I bought a 1TB card and a SD2Vita, installed YAMT instead of storagemgr/usbmc. And I'm still having the same issue. I fly out to work, come back usually after a week, and I have to pull the power cable to restart the Vita TV in order for it to work. Is there any reason this is happening? I'd like to get this fixed. Could this be a plugin issue? Running Enso 3.60 if it's relevant.

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
