Hardware Vita Slim Sandpaper Mod

So recently I have noticed my PS Vita joysticks are getting a bit loose. I may replace them soon. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Also, I'm thinking since that you have to take apart the Vita for the joytsicks, that maybe I can do the sandpaper mod. It looks cool, kind of like a switch. I would like maybe some guide to know how to do the sandpaper mod and how to remove joysticks.

This actually looks really nice, I have a OLED model, so I can't as easily mod the front texture, but it makes me want to buy a Slim Model, just to give it the treatment.
