Has anyone got Virtual Console games working successfully on Loadiine?
I looked at the thread, didn't see instructions for VC installations. Did not watch the video yet, will be in class til later.
That post link explains how to get icons and background images for them. The six digit code can be anything you want really. All they are used for is downloading the images from the internet. You could name them like this -
Game Name 1 [VC0001]
Game Name 2 [VC0002]
Game Name 3 [VC0003]
It really makes no difference. Just don't repeat any IDs or use actual IDs, unless you want to use the images from a real ID.
There are certain ones that require downloading some xml files, unless you downloaded Loadiine ready versions already. Those can be found on the compatibility list page.
Okay, where do I put it. Is it here: /wiiu/games
It is just the name of the Virtual Console Game and 6 digit code (Super Mario 64 [VC0001]) with the content and code folders in that folder with the name. It also has to be located in /wiiu/games. Open loadiine and it should be their. Am i correct?
UPDATE: Got Virtual Console games and normal games to work on loadiine. I used a site called gametdb.com to get the 6 didgit code. I had to take the content, meta and code folders (meta may not exist) and put it in to a folder in the path /wiiu/games. The folder must be called something like this -> Super Mario 64 [VCNABE]....... This got them to go into the loadiine launcher. Some titles will require the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U disc to run.
Very strange, I was looking for VC games on that database and only found games for EU and JP, but not for the NA region, like Super Mario 64, wonder why that is.
@Jonathan Demetrio It's against the rules to link to warez site, dude, I'd recommend removing that link ASAP. I'm asking for help on dumping them on my own, not downloading them from an illegal source.
Yeahhh.... You need to remove that. No posting links to warez.
In that case, I believe, (have not tried) using ddd game dumper (a homebrew Wii U app) to dump the files.
I got a whole mess of VC injects from a certain private torrent site (like 3GB for 57 NDS games), and they all work fine
Dude... do even realize what you did? You're doing the same thing when you don't remove the link from your quote. Doesn't matter if the original poster edits the link out, because now it's in YOUR post anyway!
I took it down, now you have the post on your quote. I would delete your quote to remove it as well. Sorry, I am new here.
Does anyone know if the Real Game/box Images have been uploaded? thanks!
