We saw some retailer listings for this game, and now SEGA has confirmed that they’re definitely going through with it. Check out some details below…

- roster of Wii version the same as other versions
- Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, Andy Murray, Ana Ivanovic and more
- 40 courts/environments
- single, multiplayer and online modes
- new ‘court’ games (revamped classics and 5 new games)
- Davis Cup license and World Tour modes included

I haven't played a bad Virtua Tennis, even the N-Gage one was good (Though that was a GBA port). Really hope that we can play this without motion controls. Nice to see online there too. SEGA are really spoiling us Wii owners, now get Headstrong to revamp Sonic and while you're at it can we have a new Panzer Dragoon Saga?

In the text they say interactive experience on the Wii, so I don't think it will be a regular style game without motion controls.
It would be nice offcourse if you could change the settings so you can choose between motion controls and regular controls.
But it's always nice to see another Tennis game come to the Wii, I loved the Tennis part in Wii Sports.
Hopefully if they make it with motion controls, they are a bit better then the Wii Sports controls.
