Then start priiloader or bootmii, the homebrew channel and uninstall the broken wad.

That's not the problem anymore, check the older posts. I used a NAND backup to restore my wii to before the broken wad was installed, I couldn't access homebrew through bootmii because homwbrew had just updated and was no longer recognized by boot2. Now the problem is that I can't install VC wads again, and the solution you gave me earlier didn't work when I tried it again.

You can't patch IOS36 anymore or what? Have you also tried to install it to slot 236?

Did you ever solve this problem. Because for the last few days it's been driving me insane. I recently set up my wii to use Mighty channels. Which works great. But you don't get online capabilities, so I installed a couple of wads to the desktop, which worked.

A week later I come to install a couple more wads to wii desktop, and they won't. They won't install at all. With any IOS I use. Yesterday I basically went back to square 1 and reinstalled and resigned the ios'. I have hermes 222, 223, rev 17 in 249 and whatever's normally in 250 (actually might still be dx2, can't remember), I redid, IOS15 and IOS36/236, point is, nothing will install and I have absolutely no effing idea why.

Help. Big time.

Make sure you are using YAWMM as wad manager. Which error do you get exactly?

er the 1022's. Let me give yawmm a try i will brb.

Edit: nope same thing. Tried installing with 36, 222, 236, 249 and 250 get -ret 1022 every time. I used TBR yesterday aswell and it told me that everything went fine. No errors. So I really am completely confused.

What are those stubs, are they related and if so how do i fix them?

Er, just marioworld, it won't run from mighty channels for some reason, but it is installed on my usb nand. Also tried a couple of other wads that are installed on my usb nand and i know for a fact work through mighty channels (snes streetfighter games). Essentially all the wads I have work, I know this because they all work through mighty channels, apart from super mario world, which didn't really bother me, as I knew I could just install it straight to wii. How wrong I was

Another thing that just occured to me though is that I don't have bootmii on my sd card, I haven't been using it recently, and I'm pretty newb, I was just wondering if that was related in any way. A lot of guides seem to insist on you having it..
