Here are the cheat codes for the 60FPS and widescreen patch for Ridge Racer Type 4.
Currently compatible only with the Japanese version (SCPS-45356); a version for the US release is planned.
The cheat format is GameShark.

This cheat includes the following features. Since each feature operates independently, you can activate only the ones you want.
- 1. Increases the frame rate to 60 FPS.
- 2. Adjusts the UI and FOV for a 16:9 aspect ratio.
- 3. Displays the positions of opponent vehicles on the minimap in Grand Prix and Extra Trial modes.
- 4. Resizes the opening FMV to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Please configure the following settings before activating the cheats:
- Set CPU speed to 300%
- Set aspect ratio to 16:9
- Disable Widescreen Hack (or Widescreen Rendering)
- * Enabling the PGXP option can reduce distortion in background graphics.
