Badass game, only topped by ALESTE2!
Super Aleste wasn't bad either......
I didn't know MSX was coming to VC, but boy, i' m glad !
I'm very familiar with this game, because in the late 80's I imported an MSX2+ from Japan ( actually a friend of mines did and then he sold it to me ).........
It was a Sony MSX2+ F1XDJ if I well remember..........and it was awesome, it even had KANJI characters, supported FM Music chip and had a wooping 256KB of video memory....unheard of for a Z80b 8-bit based home computer.
All of the games I had were from Japan, unfortunately the machine never made it overseas, while the MSX1 saw quite a bit of success in Europe around 1984 -85, and had a lot of games ported from the ZX Spectrum ( that never took advantage of the superior hardware ), but japanese games ( even on the MSX1 ) were fantastic, especially those early games by Konami ( Gradius, Metal gear Solid ...) .
Too bad the MSX emulators for the DS are still far from perfect, but the future looks bright.
