Hacking V106

I've downloaded version V106 from filetrip as soon as it came out at the beginning of the holiday and since I've not been much home in the holiday I had just updated my card. But the version I've downloaded from filetrip was called EZ5Fm106.nds instead of EZ5Fm106A.nds is my card now also bricked or is this another version?

I'm not sure to understand, you can't brick a microsd just by copying the firmware file on the microSD.

Have you done the update by running the .nds file like shown on this video ?

BTW, don't use the old v106 firmware updater, use the v106a.

Last question, why do you wish to use the firmware v106a ?

I've also updated the file, for the update on my 3ds, and everything went exactly as on the video but now when I turn my 3ds on it says nothing is inserted.

Do you own a dslite or have access to a dslite ?

yes my brother has an dsl with an ez flash V wich works

I followed the procedure it told me that it was successful and to power off....and now my EZ-Flash Vi is bricked...

Oh well... just a word of warning that the 106a still doesn't work on some cards...
I've tried it on all our DSi's and DSL's
Off to the bin with this one.
