Homebrew using MPlayer CE?

How do I install it and stuff? ><
I'm using linux btw >< so don't come with exe and stuff XD
though for windows users, it's no problem ^^
I just, don't really get it XD

You're new to homebrew, aren't you? If you have the HBC on your wii, 'installing' homebrew is as simple as placing the homebrew itself (which is usually a dol-file, and occasionally an elf-file) in the following folders:

SD:\apps\MPlayer_CE\boot.dol.

Or if you use an USB drive:

USB:\apps\MPlayer_CE\boot.dol.


That's mostly it. If you don't have an \apps file, you should create one on your drive. The "MPlayer_CE" can be named anything you like (most downloads already have the folder structure), but the boot.dol (or boot.elf) must be named exactly that. Rename it if you have to, but the HBC won't play it if it is named differently.
(there may also be the files icon.png and meta.xml. It's best to add these, but they're not crucial parts).
