Hacking Question Using homebrew in the safest way possible on switch sxos?

Hi all,

I have a switch with sx os. I only want to mod save file with checkpoint. Is there anyway to run homebrew without having to boost into switch firmware?
Edit: if I run cfw is there anyway to backup and restore save from orginal firmware?

If you do a backup before moding, you can later restore it and get back to the pre-modified state.
However, if you want safe homebrew on switch, go for atmosphere instead.
