I've tried searching around, but no luck

I've got a regular external hard drive currently working with the USB Loader no problem, but I was looking for something smaller for on the go and thought of my iPod. I would likely only store one iso on it, being Brawl (~8GB) but I have the space on it. Is there anyway to get a WBFS partition on it that my Wii will recognize but also have all of the original iPod functionality still intact on it?

If you can find the tools to reformat into two partitions and then reload the fat partiton with the ipod OS or a custom one, you should be able to do this, I don't see why not.

Not that hard.
Ipods don't show up as a usb mass storage device, you can't just go ahead and format them.
