I've done some reading over the past half-hour, and this is how I understand it.

If I hard-mod my original psp or phat psp battery into a pandora battery, install CFW on it, I can use this:

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=68111&st=90#

and have it write to my memory stick... and the psp will load like normal?

I have a psp 1000 btw.

The reason I ask is that I'm expecting a slim to come into the mail, and it would be really convenient if I didn't have to buy another battery for the phat.

Also, another question: by using the pandora method, can I just upgrade to the latest CFW, or do I still need to downgrade to 1.50?

Thanks

It really depends on what you put on your extra memory card. On mine I have some all-in-one thing installed on it. If I boot up using pandora, I can install 1.50, 3.40, 3.52, or 3.71. I havent figured how to add 3.80 or 3.90 to it. Im pretty sure you cannot downgrade to 1.50 on a Slim as of now, but that may change soon

the ipad pros are really decent for drawing, but then again the Galaxy Tabs do just as good or better job for less, and the best part is you don't have to charge the stylus

i just really like having a portable all-in-one device to draw on and take anywhere, i was tempted to get a Microsoft Surface but a friend of mine had a real bad experience with them
