Hacking USB Loader GX

When I launch UsbLoader Gx r721, I push the "1" button of the wiimote on a cover, and the "2" button on a cover :

Try deleting your config files and then load again.

Hey, I've had this problem before. As I haven't found a way to fix it, I did find a method that works for me. I simply used a different wii remote to go through it. Strange as it may sound I believe the connection between the remote and the program was at fault. Let me know if it works for you

When I run the USB loader all I get is a black screen, and my remote loses sync and I can't reconnect it, and I have to restart the wii. Does anyone know what's causing this? It's not on the FAQ

delete your entire config folder (backup any wiixplorer files if you have any) and try again please. report back your findings.

Sorry for the double post...just wondering about a thread format suggestion.

Many of the issues presented here could be solved much more quickly and efficiently by visiting the USB Loader GX IRC chat. If you don't have an IRC client you can chat from your web browser by following the IRC link at marinos35's USB Loader GX page. There is almost always someone there to help.

It may make sense to post your question here, then go to the IRC chat to get your answer, then come back here to edit your posts with the solution included. many of these issues can be solved very quickly but drag on for quite a while because of the posting and waiting involved in the forum.

I made backup from my SD card and formated it. I didnt put any files on it and tried again. Now update works again.

Mmmmm 4shared is down? Can't download the latest version. Although I doubt the ocarina code dump issue is fixed. No matter what game, I always get a code dump if using cheats on up to rev 723. They work just fine on CFG Loader though.

I found the update option in the options menu and it works

But just like I thought. It still crashes when enabling cheats on any game. Oh well, I guess CFG Loadder it's untill this gets fixed. I do like the interface of USB Loader GX though. If it wasn't because cheats don't work it would certainly be the best loader.

don't be a loser by cheating ... learn to play the game !

This cheat issue is kind of hard to fix since the coders are unable to replicate it on their systems, nor am I. The only game where the problem can be replicated by the team is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Many people post here regarding Ocarina but don't go to the IRC for help. If a bug cannont be replicated by the team they have to rely on you to report and help debug it. Please visit the IRC chat and discuss it with the coders.

This post by Bushing is not in regards to "new wiis that are able to be soft-modded". he was simply catching us up on the bootmii install process. The wiis in question can be soft-modded just fine with xzxero or deviyl's guides but are unable to install bootmii as boot2. It is not announcing "unhackable wiis".

I just updated to rev729, and my medal of honor heroes 2 suddenly dont work at at all, just turning into black screen when im trying to play it.

Alt dol settings to: select from sd at custom path sd:/dols. With the name RM2P69.dol.

Have i missed something? Worked fine before at rev 528 or something.

I'd recommend updating your cIOS 249 to rev 14 right off the bat.
you've updated over 200 revisions in GX so I'd also recommend deleting your config folder from your SD card and then setting your options fresh.
AltDols are no longer necessary on the SD card. Check the ReadMii (linked to in my sig) for more info but the loader will automatically load the correct dol for you from the iso on your harddrive when you turn on AltDol now

Old8oy helped me on the IRC chat tonight. We tried a lot of things, but in the end, the solution is unbelieveably simple. The solution is to delete the "Config" folder on the SD card. After deleting the Config folder, my USB Loader GX was able to start and I can play games from my HD now!
