obicom said:One advice ... now I have installed Rev 675 and try to start a system channel (over usbloader) again (with FW 4.1e)
I have seen, that the reason for the start problem is based on the preloader.
If I configure the preloader to start after a reboot the preloader (installed boot.dol), than it does not work.
If I configure the preloader to start with the systemmenu after a reboot, than it works well.
Could someone compare this and confirm the issue?
Logan said:You've got serious attitude problems you know that? If you bothered to read properly instead of jumping on the defensive you'd see differently. I was referring to the dust settling with cIOS rev 14 and the latter USB Loader GX revisions, not just the cIOS. As far as I can tell the problems only really started occurring with the release of cIOS rev 14.
If it were a simple code problem don't you think the devs would know about it!? Don't you think they would fix it in an instant? Stop being moronic.
Can I just point you at my previous post. A quick count came up with 6 users, out of thousands that use GX, having problems with dual partition. And for each of those, there was someone counter replying with dual partition and it working.
If its code, work that one out Mr Network Manager? How do you account for ALL those who have dual partitions and cIOS rev 14 and USB Loader GX working no problem?
Lest not forget that these are in effect, "BETA" revisions. You test it. You log your issue. You get on with it. If you want to use the loader, then you go back to a working revision and use that. Simple.
Or the other option, sling your hook.

I have a 1TB HD that's got all my games on it with 1 partition and I want 2 partitions on it for roms, usb loading and all that. (I want to be 1 of the 6)![]()
Anyone know of a tool that will allow accurate partitioning without losing my existing data on the drive ????
Thanks in advance.

Thanks I know how to set up a dual partition drive properly, I used to have that setup before I ran out of space, it worked well.ChokeD said:Quick question:

unfortunately... their is no way...
back up your drive games with wbfs manager...
delete paritition, resize and create 2 partitions.. format them both fat 32..
Use wbfs manager to format one partition as Wbfs.. then re add your games
I use Powerquest/ Norton Partition Magic.. 8.0
However Someone mention a good free one earlier... Easus Partition Manager, I prefer Norton/ Powerquest one though tbh...

I just needed to know if there was a way to reposition the partition without losing data.
Thanks.
Unfortunately, I don't think any tools can do this sort of thing with WBFS partitions.
Its entirely possible with your bog standard FAT and NTSC partitions. I've done this in Windows itself (expanding/shrinking etc.) before now, and using various utilities in the past.
