Hacking USB Loader GX: won't download covers

The app hangs on the "Initializing network" message when trying to download any covers. What do?

i assume it connects to other internet features on the wii generally.. meaning : is your wii connected to your router and your router to the www

which revision are you using?
try r1252 (it doesn't use SSL patch)

You can use Wii Backup Manager on PC to download covers and then manually transfer them if that works better for you:

Kind of necro here but for anyone else with this issue, it seems some homebrews have trouble with networks when Bluetooth preemption is enabled. Once I turned it off, I could download covers and HBC gets an IP address now. Not all homebrews have problems as the cIOS 236 and cIOS installers for vWii downloaded content from CDN just fine.
